GoFitYatra Community and public content

GoFitYatra Community is a public discussion space for questions, answers, replies, and other community contributions. Do not post information that you do not want to make public.

Community content may include the information you choose to include in a question, answer, or reply, as well as information associated with your public community profile. The exact information displayed depends on the community features you use and the information you choose to provide.

Community participation is optional. You can use GoFitYatra without publishing community contributions, subject to the features available to your account.

Community participation is different from information you provide privately for your GoFitYatra account, personalized plans, or other private services. Public community contributions should therefore be treated as public information.

Community content may remain available to other users or on public pages after you stop using the Community. If you request account deletion, we will handle your personal information and community-related information in accordance with applicable law, our retention requirements, and the nature of the content.

Some information may need to be retained for safety, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or other legitimate purposes. Where appropriate, retained community contributions may be de-identified or otherwise handled so they are no longer associated with your personal identity.

Community content can be reviewed after posting. Moderation records, reports, and related account or content information may be retained as reasonably necessary to enforce our Community Guidelines, investigate abuse, protect users, maintain platform security, and meet legal obligations.

We may use automated systems and human review to identify or investigate content that may violate our Community Guidelines. A community contribution may therefore be processed for safety and moderation purposes even after it has been published.

Please do not publish another person's private information, including phone numbers, addresses, private messages, account information, or sensitive health information, without appropriate permission.

GoFitYatra operates in alignment with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Health-related information

Certain features rely on wellness-related information that you voluntarily choose to provide. Depending on the features you use, this may include information about your nutrition, activity, lifestyle, preferences, goals, limitations, or other information that helps personalize your experience.

By choosing to provide wellness-related information, you consent to its use for generating general fitness and lifestyle guidance within the app.

AI-assisted outputs are intended to support general wellness and healthy lifestyle decisions. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Please refer to our Medical Disclaimer for additional information about the scope and limitations of our recommendations.

We do not intentionally collect biometric identifiers, genetic data, government-issued identifiers, address book contacts, or surveillance data.

How we use your data

Data sharing

We may share personal information with trusted service providers that help us operate GoFitYatra, such as cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, analytics, and customer support. Some community contributions may continue to be displayed after account deletion when necessary to preserve the integrity of a discussion or where the contribution has been de-identified. We do not treat public community content as equivalent to private account data simply because it was created by a registered user.

Some anonymized or aggregated information may also be retained for service improvement, security, analytics, and reporting.

Your rights

These rights are provided under applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and may be subject to legal limitations, identity verification, and other applicable requirements.

Because public contributions can be visible independently of your private account data, we may need to verify your identity and understand the request before taking action.

Children’s privacy

GoFitYatra is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age unless supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

AI & automated personalization

GoFitYatra uses AI and automated systems to generate personalized nutrition, workout, and wellness recommendations based on the information you choose to provide. Your personal information is not used to train public or general-purpose AI models. Where appropriate, we may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve our services. AI-generated recommendations are intended to support your wellness journey. AI-generated recommendations are intended to support your wellness journey and general healthy lifestyle choices. Continued use of GoFitYatra after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
